Ok, I know. It’s been a while. I’m still writing, I promise! Here’s an update: my novella was rejected several times. I’ll sit on it for a bit and maybe try to revise it more when I can see it with “fresh” eyes. I have a new dark sci-fi story, but I can’t share it yet because I’m hoping to get it published; it has one rejection so far. I have another horror story in the works. We’ll see where it goes. Might be a keeper.
Writing is all about doing the best you can. You write a bunch of not-great stuff. You get rejected over and over. But eventually, you create something bright and shiny. And maybe it even gets published.
